A Regina male is facing charges after evading police on Thursday morning.
On December 27, 2018 at approximately 7:00 a.m., police responded to a report of a weapons offence on the 1100 block of Victoria Avenue East. Reports indicate a male suspect entered a vehicle parked on the 1900 block of Rupert Street. Police located the vehicle and attempted a high risk traffic stop. The vehicle evaded the traffic stop. A check of the license plate confirmed that the vehicle was reported as stolen. Police located the vehicle shortly after and apprehended and charged the suspect.
Twenty-one year-old Dylan James POORMAN of Regina is charged with:
- Flight while pursued by a peace officer [249.1(1) CC]; and
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [355(A) CC].
POORMAN appeared in Provincial Court for these charges on December 28, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
