On January 27, 2019 at approximately 8:34 p.m., members of the Regina Police Service were dispatched to a business in the 2000 block of Prince of Wales Drive for a report of a firearms offence.
Two suspects entered the business and one of the suspects placed items in her purse. The suspects exited the business making no attempts to pay for the items. The loss prevention officer tried to arrest the suspects outside of the business but the suspects dropped the items that had been stolen and ran to a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle pointed a weapon believed to be a firearm at the loss prevention officer. The vehicle then drove away. No one was injured in the incident.
The first suspect was described as male, approximately 5’11 tall, 180 pounds, goatee, wearing puffy jackets and a hat. The second suspect was described as female, 5’6 tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. No description of the driver was obtained other than male. The vehicle the suspects left in was a red 2001 Dodge Dakota truck.
