A 26 year-old man is
charged after a stolen auto incident.
On Thursday, February 21, 2019, at approximately 8:25 pm, police observed a
vehicle reported stolen on the 900 block of Argyle Street. All four occupants
of the vehicle, three males and a female, were arrested. A search revealed a
firearm, two bladed weapons, a quantity of a substance believed to be
methamphetamine, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. The driver of the
vehicle, a 26 year-old male, was charged.
Twenty-six year-old Troy Dennis DESJARLAIS, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a scheduled substance (methamphetamine) [CDSA 4(1)];
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 [CC 355(A)];
- Fail to comply with probation order [CC 733.1(1)];
- 3 X Possession of a weapon [CC 88]; and
- Operation while prohibited by an order [CT 320.18].
DESJARLAIS made his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, Friday, February 22, 2019, at 2:00 pm.
