A 37 year-old Regina male is facing charges in connection with a recent Break and Enter.
On April 25, 2019, the Regina Police Service received a report of a Break and Enter to a detached garage in the 1-100 block of Rothwell Crescent, Regina. It’s believed the Break and Enter occurred sometime between 5:00 p.m. April 22nd and 10:00 a.m. on April 23rd. The caller said they discovered the B&E when they were told, by a neighbor, their garage door was wide open. Upon examination, they found tools and numerous other items had been stolen from the garage. Among the stolen items was a brand new set of vehicle rims, still in the packaging. The investigation led to the discovery of an advertisement for rims, posted in a popular online marketplace. Further investigation gathered evidence to indicate the items advertised matched the property stolen in the Break and Enter. A suspect was identified and investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence on Dorothy Street. The stolen property was recovered. The suspect was arrested and subsequently charged.
