On Saturday, May 25, 2019, at approximately 06:03 a.m. police were dispatched to the 6000 block of 8th Avenue for a report of a robbery.
A 28 year-old male was driving his vehicle in the area of 6000 8th Ave and was robbed of his vehicle by a male and female passenger he recently befriended. The male suspect struck the victim in the head with an unknown object and demanded the victim exit the vehicle. The victim complied and the male and female suspects drove away with the victim’s vehicle.
The victim’s injury was minor and EMS was declined.
The male suspect was described as Indigenous, with an ear piercing, tattoos on his neck, and wearing a hat.
The female suspect was described as Indigenous, late 20’s, long black and blond hair, approximately 5’5” and heavier build.
Attempts to locate the suspects in the area were negative.
