On Saturday, July 20, 2019, at approximately 6:00 pm, police were dispatched to a reported firearm incident in a residence in the 1600 block Rae Street. Patrol members cordoned off an area near this residence until they could safely determine no one was injured inside it. Patrol members are currently looking for an adult male in relation to this incident who is known to the adult victim. No injuries were reported.
Also on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at approximately 9:25 pm, a residence in the 700 block of Garnet Street was shot at from a silver coloured vehicle. The residence was occupied but no one was injured.
On Sunday, July 21, 2019, at approximately 1:20 am, police received a report of an adult male who had been shot outside a business in the 2100 block of Broad Street. The injured male is being treated in hospital with life threatening injuries. The suspect in this incident has not been identified or located at this time.
Also on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at approximately 1:30 am, police were dispatched to a report of gunshots in the 700 block of Garnet Street. Police located two separate residences with gunshot damage. These residences are different from the one reported above on July 20, 2019. There are no reports of injuries as both residences are believed to have been empty at the time of the shootings.
