The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist in solving an attempted home invasion.
On September 3, 2019, at approximately 07:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Broder Street for a report of an attempted home invasion.
The adult male resident of the house did not sustain any injury. The preliminary investigation indicates a suspect male attempted to enter the house by using a hatchet to break windows and damage the front door. The suspect demanded the resident let him in but was refused entry. The suspect fled south bound from the residence into any alley. The suspect is described as approximately 5’8” – 5’10”, wearing a black bandana over his face, black sunglasses and a white hoodie. The hatchet is described as being approximately 18″ long. This investigation is ongoing.
