On the morning of Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at approximately 5:49 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence on the 1300 block of Robinson Street for the report of a weapons offence. Information given was that two males pushed their way into a residence, who stated they were looking for two females, and provided names of the persons they were looking for (not random). One of the suspects assaulted one of the residents in the home, and pointed a firearm at another resident as the suspects exited. EMS was not required.
One of the suspects wore a bandana over his face, and was armed with a firearm. No description is available for the second suspect. NOTE: in spite of this being the second firearms offence in a short period, (the first at 5:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Athol Street) police do not, at this time, have other indicators that would suggest these two events are related.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
