Police are asking the public for information in relation to a firearms offence that occurred last night. On the night of Thursday, October 10, 2019, at approximately 10:00 PM, police were dispatched to a residence in the Glen Elm Trailer Court for a weapons offence. Information received was that someone had been shot.
Police arrived and found an injured 17 year-old male, who was treated by EMS for injuries described as non-life-threatening, and taken to hospital.
It is believed that three male suspects approached, and one of the males discharged a firearm at the victim, and then fled. Suspect descriptions are not available at this time.
