The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in a robbery investigation.
At approximately 2:55 a.m., on October 16, 2019, police received a report of a robbery with a firearm. The victim was a 39 year old male cab driver who was stopped in the 1900 block of Montreal Street dropping off a female customer. A male suspect approached the front passenger side of the cab and opened the front door. The male suspect was holding a firearm and demanded money from the victim. After the victim handed the male suspect a small amount of money, the male suspect and female customer left together on foot. The victim did not see what direction the suspects went. The victim was not physically injured as a result of the incident.
The male suspect was described as appearing to be Indigenous and approximately 20-22 years old.
The female suspect was described as appearing to be Indigenous, 16-18 years old, 5’8″, with a tattoo on her left cheek. She was wearing a black jacket and carrying a white back pack.
