On November 15, 2019 at approximately 1:00 am and 1:30 am respectively police were dispatched to two separate businesses for what were originally reported as robberies. The first incident was to a business in the 1800 block of Prince of Wales Drive and the second was in the 5300 block of Rochdale Blvd.
In the first incident a male suspect entered the business, jumped the counter, and proceeded to take the cash register. The suspect took the cash register to an awaiting vehicle then fled the area. A second male suspect that waited near the door was believed to be carrying a knife during the commission of the offence. There were no injuries sustained during the incident.
In the second incident two suspects entered the business and again took the cash register. Both of the suspects were brandishing edged weapons during the commission of the offence, and again there were no injuries sustained during the incident.
The first suspect is described as: Male, wearing a black hood, a mask and gloves. The second suspect was described as wearing all black, a mask and gloves as well.
