The Regina Police Service Drug unit (RDU) arrested and charged two Regina adults upon completion of an investigation into illegal drug trafficking within the City of Regina and a rural property west of Lumsden, Saskatchewan. As a result of the investigation, enforcement action was completed at three locations.
CDSA and judicial authorizations were executed last week in the 100 block of Kennedy Crescent and 200 block of Halifax Street, Regina. The third location was in the RM of Lumsden. Evidence seized included controlled substances (cocaine), currency and additional evidence of cocaine trafficking.
As a result of the enforcement action, 35 year-old Brendon Michael TARRANT and 32 year-old Amber KVELLO, both of Regina, are jointly charged with Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Criminal Code charges. Both accused made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court on February 12, 2020.
