Two adult males, ages 25 and 20, are now the second and third persons charged in the murder of 29 year-old Keesha Cree BITTERNOSE, of Regina. A 26 year-old Regina woman was charged yesterday in connection with this case (February 12, 2020).
This investigation began when police were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Cameron Street around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2020. The information, in the initial stages, indicated there was a female at that address who appeared to be deceased. Police and EMS arrived to find a female, later identified as 29 year-old Keesha Cree BITTERNOSE, deceased. In the early stages, police secured the scene, requested the Coroner and began what would become a homicide investigation into the death of BITTERNOSE. Continued investigation by the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, and supporting units of RPS, led to the arrest on February 11, 2020 of a 26 year-old Regina female. Two more arrests were made on February 12, 2020; this time, involving a 25 year-old male and a 20 year-old male who have been charged with First Degree Murder.
Twenty-five year-old Dillon Ricky WHITEHAWK of Regina, and 20 year-old Kurtis Clayton THOMAS, of Saskatoon, are charged with: First Degree Murder [235(1) CC].
WHITEHAWK and THOMAS made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020.
