The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is investigating a fatal motor vehicle incident that occurred on the Ring Road early this morning (Monday).
At 12:05 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020, police were dispatched to a report of an incident involving a single vehicle, which was reported to be in the ditch off Ring Road between Albert Street and Wascana Parkway. There were three occupants inside the vehicle. The driver, a 23 year old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other occupants were taken to hospital by EMS. One of the passengers, a 22 year-old male is said to be in critical condition, and the second passenger, a 24 year-old male is in serious condition.
Next of kin notification for the deceased victim has been completed.
The Regina Police Service, along with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
