On Sunday, May 3, 2020 at approximately 10:00 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a weapons complaint in the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue. Police were advised there was a male slumped over in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle, and a knife could be seen on the passenger seat.
When police arrived, officers were able to remove the male from the vehicle and seize the weapon. A search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia. As a result:
Thirty-five year-old Curtis Michael STONE , of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of A Weapon [CC 88];
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained By Crime [CC 355 (B)];
- 2 X Possession of A Scheduled Substance For The Purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5(2)].
STONE will make his first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court on July 7, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
