Three adults are charged in connection to alleged Weapons and Hit & Run incidents that happened on Sunday evening, June 7th.
This investigation began at approximately 8:20 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2020, when police received a report of a collision, in the area of the 3100 block Lakeshore Drive, where one vehicle, believed to have an impaired driver and a number of passengers, left the scene. The complainant reported seeing a firearm on the lap of the driver. While police were looking for the vehicle, a second call came in reporting an impaired driver at a location in the 1300 block of Broadway Avenue. It was the same suspect vehicle. Police conducted surveillance and then attempted a traffic stop in the area of Victoria Avenue and Arcola Street. The suspect vehicle fled, and was followed to College Avenue and Osler Street, where four people jumped out of the vehicle and scattered. Patrol and canine members apprehended all four passengers; two were released without charge. Of the remaining two: a female and male were arrested, allegedly in possession of weapons and in breach of court-ordered conditions. The suspect vehicle ended up in the area of the 2100 block Elphinstone where it became inoperable after hitting two other vehicles and a tree. The driver fled on foot and was apprehended by a canine team. The driver was taken to hospital for treatment of dog bite injuries and cleared. The driver and two of the passengers were charged.
Twenty-three year-old Tyrone Lane EAGLE, of Regina, is charged with:
- 3 X Hit & Run [320.16(1) CC];
- Refusal to comply with demand [320.15(1) CC; and
- Operate Conveyance Dangerous to Public [320.13(1) CC].
EAGLE made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020.
Twenty-one year-old Justine Lonnie Mae LITTLETENT, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a Weapon for a Purpose Dangerous to Public Peace (machete) [88 CC]; and
- Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]; and
- Breach of Undertaking [145(5)(a) CC].
LITTLETENT was released with a court date of August 20, 2020.
Nineteen year-old Aiden MCNAB-MOOSEMAY, of no fixed address, Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a Weapon for a Purpose Dangerous to Public Peace (bear spray) [88 CC]; and
- Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC].
MCNAB-MOOSEMAY made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020.
