The Regina Police Service is asking for any information the public can offer about an incident early this morning that sent one person to hospital with significant, potentially life-changing injuries.
At approximately 12:15 a.m. today (Friday): July 24, 2020, police were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of Queen Street. The caller indicated there were people at the door screaming that someone had been shot. Police arrived on scene just minutes later, but there was only one male left by then. This adult male had sustained injuries to his face and left eye, caused by projectiles, possibly fired from a pellet gun. EMS transported the victim to hospital and police began investigation into this incident. Despite numerous efforts to gain further information, there are still many unanswered questions and a suspect or suspects have not been identified.
