The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is investigating the sudden death of a 16 year-old male, which occurred on the weekend.
On October 2, 2010, at about 11:20 a.m., police were dispatched to a house in the 4500 block of Marigold Drive. There they located a 16 year-old male youth who was not breathing. Firefighters were also at the scene and administered emergency first aid, but the male was pronounced deceased.
The family of the deceased male has been notified. Police are working with the Office of the Chief Coroner to clarify the circumstances of his death. At this early stage in this investigation, there are no other details for release.
