A Regina male has been charged with first degree murder in relation to the homicide of 48 year-old male, of Regina.
Twenty-four year-old Kevin Ryan WASACASE, (DOB: 1986-11-23) of Regina, is charged with first degree murder [235(1) CC] and will make his first court appearance on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
The name of the victim is being held until next-of-kin is contacted.
At approximately 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, police were called to a residence in the 1000 block of King Street. The caller had gone to check on a friend who had not been seen for a few days and discovered a male, believed to be deceased, in the residence. Police and EMS arrived and confirmed the person was deceased. Officers secured the scene and requested that the Coroner attend.
