The Regina Police Service is continuing its investigation into a Saturday-morning, single-vehicle collision that sent a 21 year-old female to hospital with multiple injuries. Two males, who fled the scene, are being sought by police.
On Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 7:38 a.m. police were dispatched to Halleran Crescent for a report of a vehicle that had struck a house. When police arrived they found a grey Pontiac Grand Am, on its roof, in the driveway of a house on Halleran Crescent. It was apparent the vehicle had collided with the adjacent house. A 21 year-old female passenger was trapped inside the vehicle. The victim was extricated from the car by firefighters and transported to hospital by EMS. She remains in hospital for treatment of her injuries. Preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed just before the collision. Two males exited the vehicle and fled the scene. Investigators have descriptions of the suspects and are trying to locate them. Damage to the house and vehicle is extensive.
