The Regina Police Service is investigating an early morning altercation that sent two Regina males to hospital with apparent stab wounds. The victims, ages 32 and 39, remain in hospital in what is described as stable condition.
Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Angus Street at 2:05 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012, for a report of a group of people fighting. Police and EMS arrived in the area and police located a 32 year-old male in the area of 8th Avenue and Angus Street. The male appeared to have sustained a number of stab wounds. He was transported to hospital by EMS. At about the same time, other officers located a second injured person, a 39 year-old male, on the rear deck of a house in the 1400 block of Angus Street. He was also taken to hospital by EMS. In the early stages of this investigation, police detained a male and a female for questioning; however it is not known at this time if their involvement will result in charges.
