Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit – Regina office, with assistance from the Regina Police Service Street Gang Unit and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regina Integrated Proceeds of Crime Unit and Integrated Organized Crime – South has laid charges under Project GALLEON. The investigation targeted individuals responsible for distributing cannabis in Regina.
On Sunday, March 3, 2013 seven search warrants were executed in the city of Regina. During the searches Police seized 17 pounds of Cannabis and $13,000 in Canadian currency. Other items derived from the proceeds of crime or offence related property were seized, including five vehicles.
The following persons have been arrested and charged with several offences. They will be appearing in Provincial Court in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 4, 2013:
Thirty four-year old Shane R LESTER, DOB: 06/20/1978, is charged with:

Thirty year old Curtis Ryan GRUELL, DOB: 03/10/1982, is charged with:
- Participation in Activities of a Criminal Organization – Section 467.11 Criminal Code
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime – Section 354 Criminal Code
- Trafficking Marihuana – Section 5(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Marihuana – Section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine – Section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Twenty eight year old Paul Jarret TUNNEY, DOB: 04/02/1984, is charged with:

Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Corrections and Safety. CFSEU is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner police services from Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The mandate of CFSEU is to expose, investigate, disrupt, dismantle and prosecute organized crime enterprises.
