Regina Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) arrested two females on February 11, 2014 in connection to a drug trafficking group in the Regina area. They were assisted by Regina Police Service’s Street Gang Unit, Regina Police Service Community Services Division and Regina RCMP Traffic Services. The females were travelling in a vehicle near Regina. A search was completed of the vehicle and a kilogram of cocaine, small amount of marihuana and over $4,300 currency was seized. The vehicle has been seized as offence related property. The following individuals appeared in Regina Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014:
Twenty-six year-old Chelsey Marie HUGLI (DOB: 1987-11-29), of Regina is charged with Possession for Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Sec 5(2) CDSA; Possess Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000., Sec 355(b) CC; and Breach of Undertaking by JP, Sec 145(3) CC.
Forty-nine year-old Heather Ann CARTER (DOB:1964-06-07), of Strasbourg, SK, is charged with Possession for Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Sec 5(2) CDSA; and Possession of Cannabis Marihuana, Sec 4(1) CDSA.
CFSEU is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. CFSEU is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner police agencies from the Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The mandate of CFSEU is to expose, investigate, disrupt, dismantle and prosecute organized crime enterprises.
