The Regina Police Service is requesting information from the public to assist in an investigation into a stabbing that happened this morning at the Pasqua Hospital in the 4100 block of Dewdney Avenue.
Police were called at 10:00 a.m. on Monday July 14, 2014, by RQHR Security at the Pasqua Hospital for an apparent stabbing. Early information indicates a 69 year-old male, who was in the in-patient/out-patient area, was stabbed a number of times by an (as yet) unknown assailant. The male victim was transferred for immediate treatment of his injuries. The Regina Police Service sent Forensic Identification and Major Crimes members to the hospital, in addition to Patrol members. Police will continue this investigation, assisted by RQHR Security, to determine the identity of the assailant and apprehend him or her.
