A 21 year-old Regina male faces two charges of Robbery with Violence after an incident on Friday night in east Regina.
On Friday, September 12, 2014, at about 11:52 p.m., police were dispatched to an off-sale establishment in the 1800 block of Prince of Wales Drive for a report of a robbery in progress. Preliminary investigation indicated a male suspect approached a 36 year-old female, who was inside her vehicle near the off-sale vendor. The male threatened the victim and then allegedly stole her phone. The same male suspect then accosted a 37 year-old male leaving the same establishment, allegedly stealing a quantity of liquor from this second victim. The suspect fled on foot and was located not far from the original location by a Canine officer. The male was arrested and subsequent investigation led to two charges against this individual.
Twenty-one year-old Randy Farran KESHANE, DOB: 1993-01-29, of Regina, is charged with two charges of Robbery with Violence [343(a) CC]. He was released on an undertaking and will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
