Regina Police members are investigating a single vehicle rollover that occurred at about 3:10 p.m. today, November 18, 2014. The 42 year-old male driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening.
At 3:09 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, police were dispatched to the area of Dewdney Avenue and Fort Street for a report of a motor vehicle collision. Preliminary investigation indicates the lone male driver of a vehicle eastbound on Dewdney Avenue lost control of the car. The vehicle left the roadway and then rolled. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to hospital. Collision investigators were called to the scene, pending more information about the driver’s injuries. Eastbound traffic on Dewdney Avenue was restricted to one lane between McCarthy Boulevard and Grace Street.
At this time, the driver’s injuries are reported to be not life-threatening. Officers will continue their investigation into the cause of this collision. There are no other details for release at this time.
