The forty-seven year old driver of a van involved in a two vehicle collision yesterday morning at McCarthy Boulevard and Mikkelson Drive in Regina has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act.
The call came in just after 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Police attended, along with Regina Fire and Protective Services and EMS. There were five people on the bus, but none of them sustained injuries. The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital by EMS with undetermined injuries. The vehicle was damaged to the point that it could not be driven. Police did traffic control until the vehicle was removed from the scene.
A forty-seven year-old man has been charged with: Fail to yield the right of way when turning left and; Drive a motor vehicle without an appropriate (valid) driver’s license.
