A 27 year-old male and a 27 year-old female, both of Regina, are facing numerous charges after investigation into recent pharmacy break and enters led to a search warrant executed on a residence in the 1700 block of Greer Court.
On December 14, 2014, at approximately 10:45 a.m., police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of Greer Court in search of stolen narcotics. Two adults, a male and female were inside the residence. Police seized numerous dispensary bottles of narcotics (eleven different types) believed to have been obtained in two recent break and enters to pharmacies. In total approximately 2874 pills were seized. There was also other evidence seized at the residence that led to additional charges against the male in connection with a break and enter to a gas station in October, 2014. These events are as follows (most recent first):
– On December 14, 2014, at about 3:30 a.m., police were dispatched to an alarm call at a pharmacy in the 200 block of University Park Drive. Officers discovered there had been a break and enter and several narcotics were stolen.
– On December 3, 2014, officers were dispatched to a reported break and enter at a pharmacy in the 2400 block of Park Street and discovered that a suspect or suspects had unlawfully gained entry into the business and stole narcotics.
– On October 22, 2014, police attended to the 900 block of East Arcola Avenue for a break and enter to a gas station convenience store. A quantity of merchandise was stolen in this incident.
Twenty-seven year-old Michael Ray McINTYRE, DOB: 1987-07-27, of Regina, is charged with:
– Eleven (11) charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking [5(2) CDSA);
– Two (2) charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 [355(a) CC];
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 [355(b) CC];
– Three (3) charges of Break, Enter and Commit Theft [348(1)(b) CC]; and
– Three (3) charges of Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC].
Twenty-seven year-old Zoe Dawn WILLIS, DOB: 1987-11-07, of Regina, is charged with:
– Eleven (11) charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking [5(2) CDSA);
– Two (2) charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 [355(a) CC].
Both accused made their first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014.
