The Regina Police Service has arrested a twenty-three year-old male who was the subject of a Warrant for Arrest in connection with a shooting incident in North East Regina that occurred on Thursday, March 19, 2015. The shooting incident was the subject of a previous news release.
This investigation began at about 6:09 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, when police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Cornwall Street North for a report of an injured male. Police and EMS arrived and located a 25 year-old male, who had sustained life-threatening injuries. A second male victim, 22 years old, was found a few blocks away. Both victims sustained apparent gunshot wounds and were transported to hospital. Investigation into this event led to the arrest of an 18 year-old male on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015. A warrant was requested and authorized for the second accused a 23 year-old male and was the subject of a previous news release on March 25th, 2015.
The 23 year-old male accused was arrested on warrant after 10:00 pm last night, Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 by plain clothes officers.
Twenty-three year-old Jorden Dean Peter ROSS-BRILTZ, DOB: 1991-07-07 is charged with two charges of Attempt Murder [239(1)(b) CC]; three charges of Assault With a Weapon [267(a) CC]; and Break and Enter with Intent to Commit Assault [348(1)(a) CC].
ROSS-BRILTZ appears in Provincial Court on these charges today, Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
