On July 25, 2015, at approximately 8:45 p.m. police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Winnipeg Street for the report of a weapons offence. Information received was that two males had entered a home carrying a firearm and a baseball bat, then left.
When police arrived they found a 23 year-old male who was the victim of an assault. The victim had injuries believed to be minor and he refused EMS.
Investigation led to the arrest of a 25 year-old male.
25 year-old Christopher Tyson SALATESKI (DOB: 1990/03/07) is charged with:
- Break & Enter & Commit [348(1)(B) CC]
- Assault With A Weapon [267(A) CC]
- Pointing a Firearm [87 CC]
- Disguise with Intent [351(2) CC]
SALATESKI made his first appearance in Provincial court this morning, at 9:30 am.
