A second male, from Regina, has been charged in connection with a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at approximately 10:34 p.m. at a gas station in the 2300 Block of Albert Street.
In this incident, two male suspects entered the business, demanded cash from the staff. One suspect had a knife. The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. There were no injuries in this incident. Police located and stopped the suspect vehicle later in the evening. Further investigation led to a charge of armed robbery against a 52 year-old male, who appeared in court on Wednesday, August 12th. Investigation also led to the arrest, on August 12th, of a second male suspect. The second suspect has also been charged with armed robbery. Both males have also been charged with wearing a disguise in the commission of an indictable offence.
Fifty-one year–old Kevin Daniel WOLLBAUM, DOB: 1964-04-17, of Regina, is charged with Armed Robbery [343(d) CC] and Wearing a Disguise in the Commission of an Indictable Offence [351(2) CC]. Fifty-two year-old Steven Wayne MCINNES, DOB: 1963-04-06 is charged with Wearing a Disguise in the Commission of an Indictable Offence [351(2) CC] in addition to his earlier charge. Both accused will be in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
