Two males and a female are facing numerous drug-related charges after an investigation and search by police in the early hours of Thursday, August 27, 2015.
At approximately 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015, plain-clothes officers witnessed and identified a viable suspect of suspicious activity, and then conducted a vehicle search in a business parking lot. The search yielded a substance believed to be cocaine (approximately 4 grams) and a large amount of cash.
Thirty-one year-old David Heyward ADAMS, DOB: 1983-09-11, a USA citizen, is charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 [Sec 355, CC],
- Three charges of Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [Sec 5(2), CDSA].
CDSA search warrants were then authorized for two Regina residences in the 5600 block of Gordon Road and the 1400 block of Pasqua Street. These searches yielded a quantity of substances believed to be cocaine (approximately 4 oz), crystal methamphetamine (approximately 1.5 oz), heroin (approximately 15 grams), and a small amount of morphine pills. Also found were scales, packaging material and other drug related items, and a large amount of Canadian currency. The suspects were arrested and subsequently charged.
Twenty-six year-old Albert William Joseph SADDLEBACK, DOB: 1989-05-11, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime [Sec 355(B), CC],
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [Sec 5(2), CDSA],
- Two charges of Possession of a Scheduled Substance [Sec 4(1), CDSA].
Twenty-seven year-old Ashley M TOCKER, DOB: 1987-09-13, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 [Sec 355, CC],
- Three charges of Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [Sec 5(2), CDSA].
All three made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015.
