The Regina Police Service, working in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, can now confirm the identity of a deceased female, whose body was found in the attic of a residence in the 900 block of Athol Street on Friday, September 11, 2015. At this time, there is no indication of a criminal aspect to this death.
The deceased person is 26 year-old Brooklyn MOOSE, also known to use the last name SABIT, DOB: 1989-02-24, of Regina. Brooklyn MOOSE was the subject of a missing person investigation and news release http://www.reginapolice.ca/2015/07/request-assistance-to-locate-female/.
At this time, police investigators and the Office of the Chief Coroner believe this death is a non-criminal case; however the matter remains under investigation.
