Additional charges were laid today, Monday, September 14, 2015, in regards to an ongoing investigation involving Michael John SLOUGH, date of birth January 28, 1972. Slough is currently being held in connection with an investigation begun by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit in June 2015 which led to execution of a search warrant on a residence in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan. At that time, SLOUGH was charged with two counts of Sexual Assault, two counts of Sexual Interference, two counts of Making Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography and Administering a Noxious Thing.
The additional charges that were laid today are as follows:
– 26 counts of Sexual Assault;
– 11 counts of Voyeurism;
– Seven counts of Administer a Noxious Thing;
– Seven counts of Administer a Stupefying Drug to commit a sexual assault; and
– One count of Unlawful Confinement.
SLOUGH will continue to be held at the Saskatchewan Provincial Correction Centre until his next court appearance on October 19, 2015 at 2:00PM. The investigation is still ongoing.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the R.C.M.P., Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
