The following charges have been laid in connection with the high-risk vehicle stop that occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on October 12, 2015, which was the subject of a previous media release.

The individuals arrested in connection with this incident, 28 year-old Chelsea Brooke COLEGRAVE, DOB: 1987-10-02, of no fixed address and 20 year-old Aaron Joseph BRASS, DOB: 1995-06-13, of Regina, made their first court appearances at 2:00 p.m. yesterday, Tuesday, October 13, 2015, in Provincial Court.

 

Twenty-eight year-old Chelsea Brooke COLEGRAVE, DOB: 1987-10-02, of no fixed address, is charged with:

  • Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer [249.1(1) CC]
  • Assault a Police Officer with a Weapon [270.01(1)(A) CC]
  • Resist Arrest [129(A) CC]
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 [355(A) CC]
  • Robbery with Violence [343(B) CC]
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance (Methamphetamine) [4(1) CDSA]

 

Twenty year-old Aaron Joseph BRASS, DOB: 1995-06-13, of Regina, is charged with:

  • 2 x Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer [249.1(1) CC]
  • Assault a Police Officer with a Weapon [270.01(1)(A) CC]
  • 2 x Resist Arrest [129(A) CC]
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited/Restricted Weapon (Bear Mace) [91(2) CC]
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 [355(A) CC]
  • Robbery with Violence [343(B) CC]
  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [117.01(1) CC]
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance (Methamphetamine) [4(1) CDSA]

This investigation is ongoing, however no further charges are anticipated.
