At approximately 9:15 a.m. on the morning of November 04, 2015, police were dispatched to Osler Street and 15th Avenue for the report of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident. Information received was that a small car had run a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. Police arrived and observed two damaged vehicles at the scene. One was occupied by a lone fifty-eight year-old male, while the other vehicle was unoccupied. Witness reports indicated that a male driver had left scene of the accident on foot.
Police located and apprehended a thirty year-old male in the area of 13th Avenue and Broad Street.
EMS attended to the fifty-eight year-old driver who sustained injuries described as minor. EMS also attended to the thirty year-old driver who was transported to hospital for assessment. It was determined that his injuries were also minor.
Investigation determined that the vehicle, operated by the thirty year-old male, was stolen.
Thirty year-old Michael Sean LANDRY (1985/08/06), of Regina, is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000 [355(B) CC] and Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident [252(1.1) CC].
LANDRY appears in court on these charges tomorrow, Thursday, November 5th, at 9:30 a.m.
