On December 6th, 2015, at approximately 1:30 a.m. police were dispatched to a hotel at the 1900 block of Saskatchewan Drive for the report of an intoxicated male allegedly assaulting hotel staff.
Police arrived and arrested a 25 year-old male at the scene, who assaulted the officers during his arrest. It was determined that the male had also assaulted three members of hotel staff, and the male was charged as a result. All injuries were relatively minor and did not require immediate medical attention. Twenty-five year-old Jonathan WAWRO (DOB: 1990/11/14), of Saskatoon, is charged with three charges of Assault [266 CC], and two charges of Assault a Peace Officer [270(1)(A)].
WAWRO makes his first appearance in Provincial Court this morning at 9:30 a.m.
