On the evening of Thursday, April 14th, 2016, at approximately 8:18 p.m. police were dispatched to a hit and run in progress on the 600 block of Pasqua Street. A car, operated by a lone male occupant, struck an SUV head on, and then drove away. Having circled the block, the car came around again, hitting a parked truck with a ten year-old girl inside, and again drove away.
Police and EMS attended to both the driver of the SUV and the girl, both of whom were not physically injured in the incident and were cleared by EMS.
Police members were still at the scene when the vehicle returned once again, where police challenged the approaching vehicle, and removed the driver, a 29 year-old Regina male, from the car. The 29 year-old male was arrested and charged. It was determined that the car was stolen.
