Four people are charged after arrests in the high risk search warrant execution, which was the subject of a previous news release yesterday, September 27, 2016 on a residence of the 1200 block of Angus Street.
On September 27, 2016, at approximately 11:30 a.m., police executed a search warrant on a 1200 block Angus Street residence as a result of investigation. Over a dozen people were cleared from the house, and two firearms, ammunition, stolen property were recovered in the search. As a result, two males and two females were arrested without incident and subsequently charged.
Twenty-four year-old Travis Ricky LONGMAN (1992/02/25), of Regina, is charged with:
- Failure to comply [CC 145(3)] X 3
Eighteen year-old Chantel SCOTT (1998/06/31), of Regina, is charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm [CC 91(1)];
- Unsafe storage of a firearm [CC 86(1)]
Twenty-seven year-old Dorilyn Cecilia SHEPHERD (1989/09/19), of Regina, is charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm [CC 91(1)];
- Unsafe storage of a firearm [CC 86(1)]
Twenty-five year-old Michael David Blaine BLUEEYES (1990/10/14), of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order [CC 117.001(1)];
- Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order [CC 117.001(1)];
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 [CC 355(B)];
- Careless use of a firearm [CC 86(1)];
- Possession of a firearm obtained by crime [CC 96(1)];
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized [CC 92(1)];
- Failure to comply [CC 145(3)] X 2
All charged in this incident make their first appearance in Provincial Court on these charges today, September 28, 2016, at 9:30 am.
