The First Annual “Ride to Remember” is a cycling event that will be held this weekend in order to honour the memory of fallen Saskatchewan Police and Peace Officers. The event will bring awareness to the Saskatchewan Police & Peace Officer Memorial, which will take place in front of the Legislative Building on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
Twenty-five Officers from across the province will depart from the Saskatoon Police Headquarters on Friday, September 23, at 9:30 a.m., and will ride their bicycles to Regina with a stop-over in Watrous. The group is expected to arrive in Regina late Saturday afternoon, in front of the Legislative Building, after having completed over 300 km. The officers will ride no matter what the weather conditions are.

Regina traffic, please be aware that Albert Street will be partially blocked from the Royal Saskatchewan Museum (College Avenue) to the Legislative Building (Legislative Drive) from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Members of the public are welcome to attend alongside the parade route or in front of the Legislative Building. Refreshments to follow in the rotunda.
