At approximately 12:45 am on December 28, 2016, police were dispatched to a business in the 2100 block of Albert Street for a report of a robbery.
A lone male had entered the business, selected merchandise and attended to the register. When the clerk began to process the items the suspect attended behind the counter, held a weapon to the clerk’s neck and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the register. The suspect fled the business and police were called.
Police attended the location and searched the area with negative results. The investigation is ongoing.
