The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in its investigation into a robbery that occurred at a financial institution in Regina Saturday morning.
Police were dispatched at about 9:14 a.m. on Saturday July 8, 2017, to a report of a robbery at a financial institution in the 2400 block of 7th Avenue North. Preliminary investigation indicates a male suspect entered the premises, approached and employee and made a demand for money. The suspect did not receive any money and fled the premises. Police are obtaining evidence, including images from the security video system.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his 50’s, 6 feet tall, medium build. Both of the suspect’s hands were wrapped in bandages and appeared to be bleeding. The suspect also had tape or possibly a Band-Aid, on his nose.
There weren’t any physical injuries reported in this incident. At this time police have not identified the suspect, nor do they have anyone in custody.
