A 19 year-old female is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries, in connection with a hit and run incident that occurred at approximately 11:18 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Police were called at approximately 11:18 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017, to the intersection of Winnipeg Street and 12th Avenue in Regina, for a report of a hit and run with a pedestrian. Initial investigations revealed that a 19 year-old female (the victim) was crossing the street and was struck by a vehicle, which kept driving away from the scene after hitting her. The female was transported to the hospital by EMS with injuries that were considered to be life-threatening. Pieces of the vehicle were left at the scene, which Collision Investigators managed to find out the model and approximate year of the suspect car.
