A 20 year-old Regina woman is charged with Attempt Murder following investigation into a serious assault that occurred on November 19, 2017.
In that incident, police were dispatched to a motel in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue, at about 2:50 a.m., on November 19, 2017, for a report of an injured male. Police found a 71 year-old man, who’d been the victim of an apparent physical assault. The victim indicated he’d met a female earlier in the day and arranged to meet her at the motel. At the time of the meeting an unknown male arrived with the female and began physically assaulting the victim. It’s alleged the suspects stole the victim’s truck; which was recovered by police during the investigation. Investigation into this incident led to the identification of the female suspect and a subsequent arrest and charges. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
Twenty year-old Hailee Deandra KIMBLEY, of Regina is charged with:
– Attempt Murder, s. 239 CC;
– Robbery 344(1)(b) CC;
– Breach of Recognizance, s. 145(3) CC; and
– 2 x Breach of Probation, s. 7331(1) CC.
KIMBLEY made her first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday (today), November 29, 2017. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
