Three people: two adult males and an adult female, all of Regina, are facing numerous charges in connection with possession of a stolen vehicle, theft and a weapons offence.
On Sunday, December 3, 2017, at about 3:00 p.m., the Regina Police Service received a report of suspicious persons at a business in the 4900 block of Gordon Road. Police were able to obtain license plate information for a vehicle associated to the suspects; the plate information indicated this was a vehicle reported stolen from out of town. Officers spotted the vehicle and were able to keep it in sight until it was abandoned in the 1100 block of Angus Street. Three suspects exited the vehicle. One male pulled what appeared to be a handgun from his waistband and then dropped it. The suspects were apprehended without incident. A canine search of the area located a handgun-style BB gun, the same type of item displayed and sold in the business on Gordon Road.
