Three females and a male, all from Regina, are charged with robbery, evade police, and possession of stolen property over $5000 after an incident this weekend.
On Friday, December 1, 2017, police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Angus Street at about 7:00 p.m.. An injured male with a stab wound to his hand called police after he was forced at knife point to exit and turn over his car to two females. The suspects quickly fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The suspects then evaded police when they were spotted by officers a short distance from the scene.
The stolen vehicle was relocated by police officers shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, in the Wascana Park area. Plainclothes units conducted surveillance on the vehicle and were able to apprehend the four people in the vehicle after bringing the vehicle to a stop.
Twenty-two-year-old Shanaee Nanish ALEXSON, of Regina, is charged with:
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 [Sec 355(A), CC];
• Two charges of Fail to Comply with Probation Officer [Sec 733.1(1), CC].
Twenty-year-old Faith Marie GOFORTH, of Regina, is charged with:
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 [Sec 355(A), CC].
Nineteen-year-old Dulcie Marie Isabellia PETIT of Regina, is charged with:
• Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle [Sec 249(1)(A), CT];
• Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer [Sec 249.1(1), CC];
• Robbery [Sec 344(1)(B), CC];
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 [Sec 355(A), CC].
Twenty-six-year-old Zacharia Malachi STEVENSON of Regina, is charged with:
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 [Sec 355(A), CC].
• Fail to Comply with Recognizance [Sec 145(3), CC];
• Fail to Comply with Probation Officer [Sec 733.1(1), CC].
All four will make their first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Monday, December 4, 2017.
