Members of two Regina Police Service Emergency Service Teams were deployed this evening in the execution of an arrest warrant, as part of an ongoing investigation.
Special Weapons and Tactics, or SWAT, as well as Crisis Negotiator teams were utilized in the execution of an arrest warrant. This took place at a residence located in the 1100 block of McTavish St. The tactical armoured vehicle (TAV) was utilized for safety reasons. Residents in the area were advised as the police operation unfolded.
A male and female were taken into custody without incident, and the investigation is continuing.
