The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with Regina Fire and Protective Services, is investigating a fire that occurred this morning at an apartment building in the 1300 block Halifax Street. The building was occupied at the time, but, fortunately, there are no reports of injuries associated to this fire.
A Regina Police Service member assisted on this call, arriving at the apartment building just after 7:07 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018. The officer entered the building to check for residents. The officer assisted two people, believed to be from a third-floor apartment, out of the building, before the smoke made it impossible to remain inside.

Investigators are not in a position, at this time, to release any further details of this investigation. Anyone who has information that could assist in this investigation is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
