There were only minor injuries arising from a collision between a car and a school bus, in northwest Regina this morning.
Police were dispatched at approximately 8:40 a.m., on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, to the 1500 block of North Devonshire Drive for a report of a collision. The early information indicated a car had struck a school bus at the intersection of North Devonshire Drive and Ewart Place. When police arrived, the children who’d been on the bus had already been transferred to a new bus. Both vehicles sustained significant damage; however, the only injuries noted were to the driver of the car and they were reported to be relatively minor. Investigation indicated the car was south-bound on North Devonshire Drive, rounding a natural curve in the road, when the driver lost control and struck the bus.
The matter is now concluded.
