A 37 year-old Regina male has been charged with Uttering Threats, after investigation into an incident reported to police on March 29, 2018.
Police became involved when it was reported that a male had allegedly left phone messages on an after-hours business line, threatening the lives of employees of a Crown Corporation. The male had apparently been refused renewal of a government-issued document, because of outstanding fees owed. The threats caused a lockdown of one office of the Crown Corporation until additional security could be arranged. Through investigation, police were able to locate the suspect and take him safely into custody. The male has been charged and released on conditions.
Thirty-seven year-old Raymond Norman CAZA, of Regina, is charged with:
• Uttering Threats, s. 264.1(1)(a) CC; and
• Breach of Probation, 733.1(1) CC.
CAZA was released on an Officer Undertaking to appear in Provincial Court on May 15, 2018.
